You are bidding on a Named WWII US Navy 4 placeMedal Bar. The bar is used and is ingood condition with limited signs of wear and age. The ribbons are original and are clean andcrisp. The backside of the bar has a clutch back fastener. Both clutch post are firmly attaché andstraight and have the early style (claw like) clutches. The medals on the barconsist of: the US Navy Good Conduct Medal – Named; the American Defense Medalwith Fleet Bar; the American Defense Med...al; Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with2 Campaign Stars; and the WWII Victory Medal. The Good Conduct Medal is named to a Charles K. Murphy and dated 1942. Initial research indicates the Mr. Murphyserved aboard the cruiser USS Portland (CA 33) in 1940 and later on the USSKaula (AG-33) in 1943.
