This is a unique vintage clock, truly a cool find to add to your timepiece collection! It features triangular clock hands, suspended in a 3-dimensional pattern over a black clock face. The hands are bright primary colors contrasting against background. The outside diameter measures 5.5". The top is slightly higher than the bottom. Top is 2.5" high, bottom 1.5". Material is plastic. This design could really go well with various styles: contemporary, postmodern, pop art, or me...mphis. etc.
I have done extensive research and have yet to find another clock exactly like it. Based on the colors and style very reminiscent of designs by Shohei Mihara, Ettore Sottsass and even some George Nelson clocks <Wakita, Canetti and other manufacturers>.... from the late 1970s or 80s era? Reminds me of a Swatch Watch! The quartz movement was made by Rhythm Watch Co.
There are holes in the back for hanging on the wall, or it can sit on a flat surface (desk, work table, etc). Clock is clean. No cracks. Some minor scuffs on the top white edge of clock, face is good. A battery was put in for testing and the clock keeps time. Thanks for looking.
