This is one of the rarest fossils offered to date on SeaGems: apart from the piece on offer, there are only three specimens in a private collection and two in museums of this species. It is therefore exceedingly rare, and quite possibly a one-time offer. This Alcithoe (Waihaoia) pueblensis (Pritchard, 1898) 43.5 mm from the late Oligocene Jan Juc Formation in Victoria, Australia, is such an ultra-rare piece that it is missing from virtually every fossil collection world-wide.
