All plique a jour sold by Pixie Treasure Chest complies to UK trading standards and all items have been tested by Birmingham assay office and passed for solid sterling silver. This item carries a full English laser hallmark; "JS" sponsor mark inside a shield, "925" for ste...rling solid silver purity and the "anchor" for Birmingham assay office. The hallmark can be clearly seen with a jeweller's loop to the rear of the piece.
Chance to bid on this stunning and substantial solid sterling silver pendant which can also be worn as a brooch made from plique a jour yellow and black enamel, like stained glass, very beautiful. The pendant/brooch is finely set with faceted marcasite stones to the tigers head and the tiger has a faceted ruby for an eye. All of the metal wear is made from solid sterling silver and carries a full UK Birmingham assay office hallmark to the back as pictured "JS, 925, Anchor". The brooch measures 56 mm wide x 37 mm long and weighs 7.70 grams on jewellery scales. Beautiful.
