Bronze bell with brass clapper measures 8" across opening x 7" tall to top of nut. This bell was salvaged from a 53' motor sailor built by Frank Jesse in Plymouth, Mass. in 1937. The vessel was destroyed in a storm on the Chesapeake Bay in 1974. It was owned by the famous WWII pilot Eddie Fayle, who was pronounced dead two times in WWII but lived to tell his story, just google his name to see his remarkable story.
