This very fine antique Chinese porcelain plate dates from the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1735-1796). The quality of the decoration is first class and the scene is rather rare.
The central scene depicts two Heron's next to a fine tree, trellis fence, rock-work and flowers. The border is a good Y cell diaper border.
The condition is perfect and original apart from a tiny frit on the back. There are no cracks, chips, hairlines or restoration.
This large plate measures 26cm in dia...meter, 3cm in height and the foot rim is 14cm in diameter.
