A single mantle Sears / J.C. Higgins lantern circa 1950's, made by AGM, American Gas Machine Co.. When tested it was a little difficult to light but once lit, it burned steady with no problems. The blue painted steel fount has a few scrapes and scratches but no dents ar splits. The globe base and frame have have some rust, the ventilator has a couple small chips and one larger one at the screwhole. The globe is marked " HEAT RESISTING " and is probably original.
