Simplex Made in England COPPER Whistling tea kettle. Handle arms are brass and the handle is wood. Some of the black paint on handle has worn off. Please see photo. This lovely kettle is stamped on the bottom with Simplex Made in England and patent numbers. The spout is also stamped with the patent number. Inside is clean with no sign of tarnish or calcium buildup. I have tested the kettle and it boils water an whistles properly. PLEASE note...this is a us...ed copper kettle -- as such, it has blemishes and beauty marks. Namely, there are a few small dimples/dents and some discoloration. I tried to get photos of these but it is difficult with the shine of the copper. This Simplex kettle comes from a smoke an odor free environment.
