Stunning Freddie King The Texas Cannonball 1973 Concert Poster at the Commodore Ballroom Vancouver, Canada - British Columbia with incredible Jim Franklin graphics of armadillos jumping out of Freddie's guitar! This was the same artwork that was featured on Freddie's incredible Capital Records album The Texas Cannonball.
This is definitely one of the greatest blues posters that I have owned. Colors are vivid. No stains, thumbtack holes, ta...pe marks, etc. Just has the slightest isolated age toning at top edge. This is extremely minor in nature. Has a few very small isolated edge bends which only extend about 1/4 of an inch into the border. Again, this is very minor. Overall rates a strong 8.75/10. Poster measures 19 x 25 inches and is printed on lightweight paper. Will be shipped in a heavy duty sturdy mailing tube.
I was lucky enough to see Freddie King while he was promoting The Texas Cannonball album. He was mind blowing awesome! He opened for Grand Funk and certainly blew the doors off of them! So sad that he left us while still a young man. What a loss for the blues world.
