Very rare and wonderful, large size, ca1930 Cast Iron Mack C-Cab Dump Truck Toy manufactured by the Hubley Mfg. Co. This early, cast iron Toy Coal Truck measures approx. 10 1/2” long overall by 5" tall (at the cab roof) by 4 1/2" wide (across the rear wheels).
This large, Hubley Mack Dump Truck features a a read dump body with lever release. The Truck returns its original, separately cast driver and its original white rubber tires on red hubs. The Truck cam...e to us with three cast iron tools – a pick ax, a rake and a hatchet which are included in this auction.
This wonderful, large size, Hubley Dump Truck Toy is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, physical damage or repairs of any kind to the cast iron. The Toy is 100% original and there has been no restoration or repairs of any kind. The surface paint is original and the Truck retains approx. 80% of that original surface paint. The white rubber tires are original however the rear tires are damaged as can be seen in the scans below. Please see the scans below for a good indication of the form and condition of this outstanding Hubley Cast Iron Toy.
