Here's a scarce early Hypodermic syringe kit from the late 1890s or early 1900 era, complete with syringe, two needles, 4 cork top hand blown bottles all in their original leather case, which is inside its original sliding drawer box! The empty bottles would probably have contained heroin or morphine.
The leather fold out case has snap shut button on cover....BLEES MOORE INST.CO. ST.LOUIS, MO. in gold print on inside. The chrome or silver plated syringe is 3"long.... It has a little protective screw on cap over the threads which can be unscrewed off and one of the hypodermic needle tips screwed on. The syringe, 2 tips and 4 glass vials are all mounted in their own clips. The leather flaps fold in and snap shut.....leather case is 3 1/4"long and fits snugly inside original box which is printed HYPODERMATIC CASE on both ends....this cardboard case is 3 3/4"long x 2 1/4"wide x 1 1/4"deep. It has tape on some corners. Everything else is in excellent condition.The Blees Moore Instrument Co began in 1897 in St.Louis.
