Here is a vintage original Stewart Warner instrument panel. They made quite a few different custom gauge panels back in the day, offering them for custom automotive applications as well as marine applications. Different names were used depending on the application- this one is the larger deluxe version best known as the "Hollywood" panel for customs and hot rods. It was even used in the early 1950's Muntz Jet models (last photo). The last six photos are for reference purposes only- NO ...GAUGES ARE INCLUDED. This auction is for the panel only. These panels came with numerous background insert patterns, but the most common are the engine turned face and the black wrinkle finish (as this one has). They were sold with or without the instruments installed. They look good mounted with the ribbed edge design on either the top or the bottom. The longest width measures 15", with the center height measuring 7-3/4". It takes the standard larger size 3-3/8" rear mount speedo/tach gauges, along with the standard smaller size 2" rear mount gauges. The overall condition is excellent for the age. It almost appears to be NOS (new old stock) unused, but I can't say for sure. Regardless, the chrome still has a great looking shine to the finish with no issues, and the wrinkle painted background insert is fine as well. The original bulb socket holders are all still intact on the backside, along with the original mounting hardware. Thanks for looking, Chris. *AFTER THE AUCTION IS OVER, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INVOICE TO BE SENT BEFORE PAYING SO I CAN CALCULATE THE CORRECT SHIPPING COSTS. *I WILL STILL ACCEPT ANY FORMS OF PAYMENT AS ALLOWED BY EBAY.*TO SAVE ON SHIPPING COSTS I WILL COMBINE AUCTION WINS (WHEN POSSIBLE), BUT I DO ASK THAT PAYMENT BE SENT ASAP ON THE FIRST INVOICE AND ANY CHANGES WITH COMBINED SHIPPING COSTS WILL BE MADE ON SUBSEQUENT INVOICES.** I apologize for the following "fine print". I never bothered with this previously, but due to ebay's changes, it has now become a necessary evil: SHIPPING: Ebay now requires the shipping calculator to be included in all auctions. Please be aware that although the costs listed will in most instances be basically correct, these are not always accurate. Any significant differences up or down will be adjusted on the invoice. The shipping costs listed here are estimates only (not always including the insurance/delivery confirmation costs), as I do not package items until after the auction ends. DUE TO PAYPAL'S POLICIES, I NOW REQUIRE INSURANCE ON ALL PACKAGES VALUED OVER $25.00 (AND DELIVERY CONFIRMATION ON ALL USPS PACKAGES), AS WELL AS DELIVERY SIGNATURES ON ALL PACKAGES VALUED AT $250.00 AND HIGHER. THESE WILL BE ADDED WITH THE SHIPPING COSTS ON THE INVOICE. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: Please be aware that although both USPS first class and priority shipping may be listed in the calculator, all packages valued over $25 will need to be insured and only priority packages can be sent with insurance coverage. First class shipping is less expensive, and I will try to ship at the best rate possible, but often times the more expensive priority rate is the only one available when insurance coverage is needed.
