A neat, RARE vintage, and kinda hard to describe on my part ... Jim Morrison of The Doors "Signature" framed poster / print. Unknown date, but appears to be from the late 1960's or early 1970's. MY RESEARCH COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING SIMILAR.
Frame is classic 1960/1970's heavy/thick dark wood, with a grooved/burned? look to it. Print is framed with a glass cover - print has a "gold metallic" appearance to Morrison's hair. Back of framed print, on the cardboa...rd portion, does have a stamped identification part, but it is not clear (not a full stamped mark). All I can say for sure is that it has "MORRISON (SIGNATURE)"
I did not, and will not, take the print out of it's frame (don't want to risk damaging it). Interior print size, framed under the glass, appears to measure 15-1/4" by 11-1/2". Overall outer measurement with frame is 19" by 15". Again, solid wood frame is thick and heavy with the overall piece weighing nearly 3 pounds.
I apologize for any poor quality pictures - hard to get clear pictures when print/artwork is under glass. MUCH MORE STUNNING IN PERSON! Truly a great and beautiful addition to any Jim Morrison and/or The Doors fan!
