1974 SCHWINN FAIR LADY STINGRAY MUSCLE BICYCLE BANANA SEAT BLUE VINTAGE RAT ROD! Click Photos to Enlarge
Description Her...e is a rare original November 1974 SCHWINN Stingray "Fair Lady" 20" BICYCLE! (LK Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! A cool bike to for parts, restore, or enjoy it in its unrestored type patina.
*The bike is in the original and very appealing RADIANT BLUE factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching Schwinn hand grips, cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn pedals, chrome fenders, (have dents and a small crease on the front) and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The original screen chainguard is in place! The bike is an ORIGINAL 1-speed with coaster style brakes. The seat is a vintage Stingray seat but is the slightly newer version. The rims are chrome Schwinn S7 rims with a Bendix hub. The tires are vintage Schwinn tires and do hold air. I believe this bike is mostly original parts from when it was new! (see pics and be your own judge)

If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! I LOVE the original paint! (has chips scratches etc but has survived better than many bikes of the era) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid.

Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.

Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment.
