This is an unusual and rare piece by HAMILTON, a legendary American Swiss watch maker whose clients have included Elvis and President Obama. This piece was acquired through a private estate clearance. Hamilton have been in business since the 19th Century and have a formidable back catalogue of collectable models. This ladies bracelet watch is by far the most idiosyncratic model that we’ve seen (and Hamilton are well known for their idiosyncracies!) and depending on how you see things, it’s either a Hamilton branded watch suspended in an intricately crafted and super retro a SQUARE LINKED bracelet or a super retro bracelet with a Hamilton watch attached to it :0). Just in case there was any doubt about the quality on offer here folks, it also comes with a safety chain attached to the clasp – ALWAYS a sign of top quality. The watch part currently is NOT WORKING though the balance is fine and so likely a service will sort it out – well worth it folks for a piece like this. Sold for SERVICE/REPAIR only with no returns please folks. It measures : each link is 21mms wide by about 23mms long and there are 8 links. With a bit of help this can be easily reduced in size. 184mms long. Condition : overall very good cosmetics – this has been little used.
