This is a great vintage Pioneer model Pl-530 Direct Drive fully automatic Stereo turntable well known as one of the heaviest and the best ever made . It is in great working condition and includes all the paperwork , cords , manuals , a great audio-technica cartridge with stylus and the plastic dust cover . When I first tried to get it working I could not get the cartridge to sit on the LP but after reading the manual I found that there is a subweight that screws onto the area behind th...e counterweight which is designed for heavy cartridges after I took that off it set down nice and smooth in the proper configuration . I put it back on and will need to be taken off again to get the cartridge to sit (I did not want to lose this important piece) . The only issues i could find is that the plastic cover is a bit cloudy and the wood base is a little rough around a few of the edges and the veneer is wrinkled up in one spot . It even features the famous Strobe speed adjustment that has two controls one for 45 and one for 33 RPM records . This is a totally original piece found at a local church bazaar a rare find .
