Click images to enlarge Description Item: We received this nice vintage rod from a local estate! We are not experts on fishing equipment so please don't hesitate to email us any questions. It is a nice looking vintage South Bend split bamboo fly fishing rod. The rod is marked " HCH or C" and the numbers "47-9" are also on the rod. There are four pieces in total (2 tips). We do have what we think is the original bag for the piece. Please check our other auctions for more vintage fishing items! More neat stuff at our Ebay Store! Size and Makeup: Three of the pieces are approx. 36 1/2" long and one center section is shorter at 34" long. Made of split bamboo and metal. Condition: We are selling the fishing rod exactly as we found it from a local estate. As we noted above, the center section is shorter so we don't know if it came this way or was repaired. If it was repaired it looks good! Two guides may have been restrung on this same center section piecOtherwisewise light signs of use and age. Overall a nice looking rod! Markings: South Bend. First class is mailed in a pouch. USPS is mailed in a box, bubble wrapped, and padded with paper. Standard Mail and FEDEX shipments are double boxed and packed with packing peanuts. If you prefer the most secure shipping method we recommend Priority Mail, Standard Mail or FEDEX not First Class (please email us for a quote if not already stated). COMBINED SHIPMENTS are sent Standard Mail or FEDEX only (no matter what the auction may list as the shipper)!! Sometimes we can ship multiple item purchases cheaper through Standard Mail or FEDEX than it would cost to ship 1 or 2 items by USPS Priority Mail. NOTE: Occasionally Ebay shipping calculator is wrong and the shipping amount is incorrect and undercharges.
