U.S. FDC #717 ARBOR DAY STAMP FROM 1932. A really nice looking stamp showing a boy and girl planting trees. Commemorating the centennial of Julius Sterling Morton, the author of Arbor ...Day. Two stamps attached to the cover. This is on an UNKNOWN CACHET, in good condition for it's time. Gum toning on the reverse. The cachet also shows a boy and girl planting trees. See the nice scan.
The postmark is NEBRASKA CITY, NEBR., APR 22, 1932. This is a great looking Cover. And you just might get it here at my usual low starting bid!
