Selling this super rare round creme dial hard to find GLASHUTTE Made in GDR.C.099321. Wassergeschutzt + EdelStahlBoden, 20micron Gold Plaque + Made in Germany manual wind cal.70.1 watch.
Under the GUB cal.70.1 balance wheel there is a number 23142 imprinted!
The watch just recently undergo a FULL SERVICE so the watch is like new!!!
The watch is previously owned but in almost NOS PERFECT visual condition with some aging signs like shown on the images.
The watch case is... is almost perfect condition taking in consideration the age. The watch crown is in perfect condition as well.The watch glass is all original and in perfect condition. All parts are original.
The gold watch dial and the hands are in mint condition. The watch case is plated with 20micron gold and some wear can be seen.
The watch comes with the ORIGINAL BLUE GUB BOX which is in superb condition!!!

The watch itself is a vault find. The watch was inspected by a watchmaker and all parts are original. The watch comes with a genuine leather watch strap witch is new.
The watch manual wind 17jewels movement was serviced plus cleaned and oiled. The watch was also tested by winding it up and checking for 2 days straight during which the watch was standing on a desk and showing good time in 2days.
The watch diameter is 34mm without and 36mm including the crown.
Please keep in mind that this watch is from the 50's so it is a good 60+ years old.
This is a real collectors GUB GLASHUTTE watch. A real vintage hard to find piece.

Little bit of a history:
The Glashütte watch companies, founded in 1951, brought together the most important companies in the Glashütte watch and precision engineering industry under one unified management. These included not only well-known brands such as A. Lange & Söhne, UFAG and UROFA but also precision mechanics and toolmaking companies.
The products were made for distribution in the GDR until 1965 under the brand - GUB! and subsequently, until 1990, under the brand - Glashütte! For the exported to 58 countries watches were also other brand names, such as u.a. Original glassworks! Master anchor! Limit International - used. The GUB, which was integrated into DDR Kombinate starting from 1967, were subordinated to the Entlechtung and privatization GmbH in 1990 in the process of the German reunification as GmbH of the Treuhandanstalt Berlin. Today in Glashütte under such sonorous brands, such as u.a. A. Lange & Söhne, Original Glashütte, Union, Nomos, Mühle & Sohn, Wempe,
Tutima and Großmann, again produced top-class watches in Glashütte.
