Original Description:
This is a great piece of folk art, a sailors Victorian valentine.The piece is not dated so please examine photos closely for age and condition.The star has 4 shell points and 4 with a decorative paper.There are shells missing from the 4 points.The shells encircling the raised center are all intact.There is a photo with a sailing ship, some dried moss with 3 shells in the center.It is 8 3/4" from point to point and 1 1/2" high.Photos are the best description.Sold as found.
