Isamu Noguchi’s playful design caught the attention of Hans Knoll who thought it would compliment his Bertoia collection. Because of this, Noguchi adapted his stool into a small table in 1954, to compliment the chairs. It was made into a full sized dining table in 1957. They were taken out of production in 1974, but were reintroduced in 2003. These tables(I have 4), were the first of the reintroduced tables made that were re-released for sale in the early 2000’s. I have the paperwo...rk from the company out of PA, stating that the tables were commissioned from the buyer and design engineer at the time from Knoll. The table bases are extremely heavy and may have to be shipped alternately, we deliver locally(PA, DE, NJ, NY). Uship is also a great option. The shipping quote is an estimate, please contact me with your zip code, so I can try to give you a more accurate quote.I have 4 of these for sale, this auction is only for the table base pictured. This Cyclone dinner table base measures 28“ tall. The cyclone base is 20“ wide at the top, and 20“ wide at the base. The smaller side table, listed in another auction is 20” tall.
