Vintage 10k Yellow Gold And Diamond Earrings.
I’m not a jeweler, I’m not a professional photographer either; I tried to take the best pictures I could but these earrings are just crazy shiny, or maybe my lights are too bright.
These earrings are marked 10k along with some other marks I couldn’t read. They are butterfly backed (marked 10k as well) and about 8mm in length, with the diamonds being about 3mm across. I don’t know the quality of the diamonds but they seem nic...e and clear and eye catching.
These were given to me by my grandmother, who has likely hoarded these for at least the past 20 years in her jewelry box. I doubt she’s ever worn these considering the severity of the cheese cutter slits in her lobes. I personally can’t wear these either, since I only have one lobe pierced and I think I’d look a little nutty if I tried to rock this as a fashion statement.
So maybe these are a budget friendly gift for your mom, wife, or daughter, or you buy them to set the diamonds in a different pair of settings and scrap the gold. Whatever you do, cool, it’s better than them sitting in the back of a drawer in my home, forgotten and collecting dust.
