LARGE RARE  ROMAN CA.200 AD  RITUAL BRONZE VESSEL WITH MUSES FACES  A libation is a ritual pouring of a liquid, or grains such as rice, as an offering to a god or spirit, ... The vessels used in the ritual, including the patera, often had a significant form which differentiated them from secular vessels.Such type of bronze vessel was produced for ceremonial/ritual purpose. 
Condition:  Intact,   no visible repairs or cracks....
Measurements: 130X65 MM   :1015 GR
Provenance: From an old British collection;
