Description: Vintage Stanley No. 103 Block Plane, Type 1 - Only the type 1 (1886-83) had a wooden knob, a "finger pad" replaced it for all later types. The shapely lever cap only lasted until 1888. Condition: All original and correct parts, lightly cleaned, patina left intact. No rust or pitting, no cracks or chips, the applewood knob is perfect.
