Up for sale is an outstanding and rare original advance Grease movie poster from 1978. Measuring approximately 27 x 41 inches this is THE 1st print as seen in the lower right hand corner ""Grease" Advanced 1-SHT" with 780018. This is not one of the many reprints of this rare original. We know this as well to be an original because it came from the personal collection of 2 time academy award winner Bill Varney who was one of the biggest Hollywood sound mixers in the 70's and 80's. Bill ...Varney won his two academy awards for two of the most iconic films of all time, Star Wars the Empire Strikes Back and Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark. Bill also worked on Grease and he received this poster when it was first printed! The images accurately represent the condition of this poster which is by far very good.
