The pattern is known as B9461, but I have also seen it called Flying Bird, Long Tailed Bird and Pekoe.
It depicts a Striking Asian scene with a long-tailed bird flying above oversized flowers and branches and is boldly and brightly hand colored in orange, pink, green and blue and trimmed in a mustard yellow ...edging.
It Display Wonderfully and is in Remarkable condition, especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or repairs or scratches or damage. There is not even any visible crazing. The colors and decorations and strong and bold throughout. The condition makes this piece a RARE find.
The piece measures 12 1/4 inches long, including two side handles, 9 3/8 inches wide, and 5 3/4 inches tall, including the handle.
The bowl has an Ashworth Bros ribbon and crown Hanley England mark and a handwritten pattern number, B9461.I am selling many other antique Staffordshire items, including other pieces in this same Flying Bird pattern, and will combine shipping whenever possible.
