Mint - perfect, pristine condition. Has either never been worn or has been looked after exceptionally well.
Excellent - looks hardly used, may be a few tiny little scratches or marks that can be seen only if look closely.
Very good- looks a little used, may have scratches, chips or marks from years of wear or storage but these are consistent with age.
Good - wearable but probably has several marks, chips or stains from years of use and storage. Although these will be visible to all they don't detract from the overall vintage feel and add to the charm of the piece.
