Okay folks, first off, I apologize for not having a picture of the makers mark here. To be honest, I did not realize it was signed, until just this moment. The marking is at the very end of one of the three top rhinestone sprays and is right at the end of the longest one, so I simply did not see it till now.it is signed STERLING and under that NORDIC.Now, I believe NORDIC refers to a makers name and not its origins.
This is both a heavy and large piece measuring 3 3/8 in...ches in length, with a two layer construction that has top plate of blue stone spray screwed on in two places on back of brooch. This has a very three dimensional effect and weighs in at 30.9 grams or 1.09 oz.It is a stunning piece that is sterling silver with a gold vermeil type overlay, that is in excellent condition.
