GENERAL RADIO 1501-A LIGHT METER & PROBE
Here is a vintage professional photography studio light meterand probe. The Type 1501-A meter and the 1501-PI probe. Thesecame from the old Gene Albert Studio. The meter is in a sturdy hardwood box. The top opens with a metal latch and chromed hing. It has the original leather carrying strap. Instruction sheet inside cover. Really a very beautiful box with a couple of minor scratches and or dings on the outsi...de.
Includes the 1501-PI probe which plugs into the side. Includes theoriginal vacuum tube. I don't know what brand or number it is. The unit is in very good condition except for the 2 rubber suction cups which have somewhat dried out and have some cracking on the edges.
Made in the USA but I don't know when. Both items are untested and are sold as is. Light meter runs on battery power but I don't know what type. Measurements are: 7" wide, 6" tall, and 10" long.
