Authentic Vintage 1970s Oil Crisis CHALKY Breyer traditional size Tennessee Walking Horse "Midnight Sun." Sculpted by Christian Hess. Made in the USA. Pretty Palomino color. This is a chalky plastic, which means the model was molded in an opaque bright white plastic before being painted. Photos are of the actual model you will receive. Has some rubs and marks in the paint finish, but great condition for age, as chalkies u...sually have very delicate paint finishes and seem to scratch easier. Also has a small seam split on face--see closeup. Can be easily touched up with black paint to hide it. There is some glare from the camera flash, so please check out the different angles and zoom feature to distinguish the glare from the rubs/marks. The photos are to be considered part of the description of condition. I am not the original owner. Smoke-free home, but I do have pets (cats, dog, horses).
Model sells As Is. No refunds. Model will be packed VERY well for shipment and insured. If the shipping seems a little high, it's because I've added the cost of insurance into the shipping price. If damaged or lost in shipping, you will need to make a claim with the post office. ***International Bidders--Customs fees and duties are NOT included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer. I will not "doctor" the customs forms.
I am slowly adding more Breyers, Hagen-Renakers, Beswick, Hartland, etc. of all sizes as I go through my vast collection of over 500 Breyer models and hundreds of other makes. There will be some rare models, such as Chalkies, woodgrains, Monrovia Hagens, etc. I also have Hutschenreuther, Royal Doulton, Royal Worcester, Nymphenburg, Goebel, Freeman McFarlane and more horses, animals and birds that will be coming up for sale. At this time, I cannot answer questions as to what model will be available and when--I am deciding as I go along. Keep checking, or save my ID in your searches. I will also be cross-posting the ebay links to some of my auction pieces on MH$P and some facebook pages. Stay tuned.
Please pay promptly. Prefer within 24 hours of end of auction. No e-checks please. No returns. Everything sells as is. I will describe models to the best of my abilities, but I'm not infallible and may miss something. Therefore the photos are to be used as a part of the description. Photos are of actual model in auction unless specified differently. If International shipping, there will be an extra charge for shipping, probably around $60, but not sure. But take that into account when buying from another country.
