Antique Early 1900s Hanging Brass Chandelier / Ceiling Light Fixture. Featuring an awesome Vaseline / Uranium Glass 7" diameter Globe Shade and floral Brass hanging. The globe glows green as it should under a black light. My camera had trouble picking this up but I tried to show it the best I could in picture 3. It fits right into many styles but I would call it closest to Art Nouveau. Everything is in un-restored "as found" condition. No breaks, cracks, or major structural damage can ...be found. The thin metal ceiling canopy has some minor bending that could be undone but I left it fully original. The cloth wiring and 1900s acorn pull chain socket are both present but will need updated. The socket appears to be intact but the pull chain is locked up and may need replaced. Found at a local farm estate built in the 1880s this fixture appears to be from when they switched from gas to electric and is fully original. It had been stored in the attic for 45+ years after it was taken down and replaced in the 1970's. All I've done is clean the globe lightly and dust the fixture. Some old paint spatter and tarnish can be seen but would be an easy cleaning with a little time.Measurements- 28" tall from globe to canopy. The globe measures around 7-1/4" in diameter.
