My father-in-law loved to play this banjo! It needs a new home with a banjo lover! We have determined by the unique peghead shape that this is likely a Kay banjo from Chicago, Illinois. Made some time between 1931 in 1968. I believe it is ready to play! Banjos similar to this one go for $250 to $400. We are putting no reserve on this banjo, so bid early and bid often!
