This clock has an absolutely beautiful veneered oak & mahogany case which has a wonderful display look, it has a split arch removable hood with glazed door. The trunk door is in full working order and has its original lock and key. A fantastic longcase clock which will look spectacular where ever it is displayedThe Clock Measures - 87.55 inches high x 22.5 inches wide x 9.75 inches deepDialThe clock has a beautiful arched dial which measures 20 inches x 14 inches. The hand painted decoration is wonderful and in excellent condition, to the centre you have the sub seconds dial and working calendar dial, the dial is signed by the maker Tritchler of CarlisleMovementThe clock has a 8 day bell striking movement with a sub seconds and calendar features, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking the bell as it should. The calendar turns over with the movement every 12 hours and is in full working order, it comes with its original weights and pendulumCondition ReportThis clock is in good original condition and in full working order. This is a 19th century antique English longcase grandfather clock by Tritchler of Carlisle dating to circa 1830.
