Great handpainted PORCELAIN Asian Koi fish 8” wide, 1 ¾” high bowls. Each is handpainted in China. Vintage, or antique, I do not know. Blue paint with off white (most look like a light grey) glazed background. These look older than the plates in the set which have a whiter background. These bowls are so beautiful, any one bowl would look great just hung on a wall in a kitchen or dining room. I love the expression on the fish in the third bowl. I saved a couple of these ...for myself because they are great to eat salads from. They make the salad seem a lot more special! Unmarked. The photo is of the actual bowls you will receive. No chips, cracks or crazing. One plate (in upper left of the four) has a reddish smudge on the back (looks like a little jam), but it is under the glaze. I have also listed more of this great set (plates), but can’t combine shipping because these fit in a large flat rate box. Free pick up in Northeast Los Angeles (Eagle Rock area).
