For your consideration is an 18S, 15J Model 2 Miller Illinois Pocket Watch. Estimated production year is 1880. Watch is lever set and pendant wind. This is a Transitional Movement.
Watch is in working condition.The Dial has hairlines as seen in the photos. Overall the Dial faces up very well.The Hands are nicely blued. The crystal has very small surface scratches like a crystal of a wrist watch gets with wear. The Movement is a nice gilt as seen in the photos. Overall Producti...on for this Movement/Watch is ONLY 7, 000. Serial number is 52529.The heavy Hunter Case is 18K Gold and weighs a total of about 154 grams. The Case appears to be original to the movement. The Front Cover opens and closes as it should. Front Cover opens to 90 degrees. Back and Dust Covers open to about 89 degrees. Case has light wear with light surface scratches. Front and Back Covers nicely decorated.
