WorkingThis is a Swiss Hunter pocket watch made by Volta circa 1910The watch has clear assay marks for 18K goldThe watch has a button MINUTE repeater function and has agood clear chimeThe watch also has a separate button for the start, stop, fly back and reset chronograph functionThe watch keeps excellent time and the two functions workperfectly. To activate the repeater you MUS...T PUSH THE BUTTON all the way in tomake it work properly. To hear and see the watch work and chime, please clickon the link belowhttps://youtu.be/PdSagUeT1OwMovement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a push buttonactivated quarter repeater function with two steel hammers striking on the internalgongs. The movement also has exposed steel work for the stop start fly back andreset chronograph function. The movement is in 95% mint condition – many lightspeck marks if you examine the movement closely but overall a very clean movementCase – the movement comes in a solid 18K gold case, whichhas a hinged inner, back and front cover. The movement is also protected by a gold bezel and glasscover.The inner cover is signed “Repetition Minutes Volta, Chronographe” and is decorated with a series of medals in miniature. The innercover is VERY THIN.The front cover of the watch pops open to 90 degrees whenyou press the winder in.The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 80% mintcondition – there are many small bruises on the back cover and a build up oflight surface scratches too. Plus the bow has a dent from using it on a chainand the front cover has a small gap when closed between the side and the cover.Dial – the white enamel dial has gilt filigree hands, and a giltcentre seconds hand and a gilt sub seconds hand. The dial is in 98% mintcondition – tiny marks only The watch has a mineral glass. The watch is stem wound / lever SetThe watch measures 57mm x 16mm deep
