Onoffer is silver-cased hunter pocket watch made for the Turkish-Ottoman market, with subsidiary seconds hand, featuring Turkish numerals and, most unusually, the image of a Turkish Sultan (I don’t believe it’s Ataturk) on the dial. The Swiss movement is presently running. Themovement backplate features a large ‘L’ within a wreath, to the left of whichis Arabic text, which suggests that this watch was retailed by Etablissements Orosdi-Back, a high-end retailer in the... late 19th/early 20th century. Thecase measures nearly 1-3/4 inches in diameter. The case shows wear commensurate with its age, including scratches andsome small dents.Watchvideo of the mechanism running here:Turkish pocket watch movementVideo will open in a new windowUsing the mobile app?
