The many positives of this Antique, circa 1920, Louis JACOT pocket watch include an excellent Solid 14K gold engraved case, and a super high-quality Swiss movement made by the esteemed Jacot watchmaker in the Locle region of Switzerland. The engravings on the Hunter Case are exceptional and in excellent condition.
The negatives are minor and/or easy to address, requiring some minor repairs to make it excellent. The movement's balance staff is fine, and the movement likely ...requires a minor repair to start running again. Glass is missing, and the bezel requires a minor adjustment by a jeweler or watchmaker to once again fit fully securely.
Separate from a couple of very small dents on the smooth outside rim, which are only noticeable if looking for them, the case is in near-perfect condition. While the case is not marked clearly as such, it is guaranteed to be Solid 14K Gold.
The pocket watch is a full 1 1/2 inches across in diameter.
