This STUNNING MURANO ART GLASS hand blown creation is a strongly characterful most elegant fowl.......!! He is largely in red/white/blue glass. His chest is cleverly speckled with a multitude of small pieces of multicoloured glass (which in the real world matches the many colours in fowl feathers).This bird with his puffed out chest is an astounding work of glass art. Applied hand worked tail and wings and beak with extra layer of glass for the chest ruff feathers and comb... on a... stand of clear glass which is hand worked and prettily scalloped at the base edge. Underneath the pontil is polished in a top quality manner. From head to claw to beak there are no chips or other damage.....It would look the part in the perfect location or make a stunning addition to a collection of Italian art glass.
