Rare Vintage Heuer 1133B Monaco Chronograph 1970s Automatic Steve McQueen
This is it! The very first automatic chronograph, the Heuer Monaco watch as made famous by Steve McQueen in the movie Le Mans. This is the original 1133 B for blue face. It is also the Cal 11 which was the first movement issued for this watch. Early in the production Heuer changed to a Cal 12 movement but kept the 1133 number. Original plastic crystal has some light scratches and fortunately the gasket f...or the crystal hasn't melted/deteriorated and stuck to the face. Runs great and looks even better. The current strap on it is not an original band. I put that on recently to match the Steve McQueen look. The original steel bracelet is included and has a neat spring stretch in the buckle. This watch has it's own Wikipedia page as well as several fan pages.
