Pre-owned; IWC GST Titanium Perpetual Calendar Chrono, in excellent working condition keeping accurate time. Chronograph & All calendar functions working properly. Flawless, close to unworn, mint like physical condition with full links and original box.
This watch was purchased from our client who had it stored in his safe from the early 2000s.When we received the watch, ...the calendar year was set to 2003, confirming it had not been worn or used since.Unfortunately, the original booklet and documentation is missing. Includes a sealed capsule containing the calendar update for the next four centuries.
For those who are unfamiliar with the perpetual calendar, it correctly displays the date, taking into account the different lenghts of the months as well as leap days. This watch isn't just a perpetual calendar, it is also a chronograph housed in a stunning 43mm titanium matte finished case featuring a very unique and integrated bracelet system.Very light on the wrist, with a total weight of 132grams, all links included. In order to take out a link, special tools are not required. Each individual link has a button - when pressed, the pin is able to release, only requiring two toothpicks. The deployment clasp is very thin and secure, with a trigger release. The moon phase disc is one of the most stunning ever featured on any watch - a blue glass disc with countless shiny stars. The dial is matte black which might look blue due to the flawless sapphire crystal protecting it. The minute track around the bezel is yellow along with the calendar hands, while the chronograph hands are white.
The moonphase is so precise that it will only deviate 1 day after 500 years. Taking into account of all the complications this remarkable watch has to offer, place this as a type of watch you would choose if you could only have one.
