Vintage large antique pre or early 1920’s Art Deco ELGIN ENGRAVED mens wristwatch in a ss case. This watch is all original and triple signed: case, dial, and movement. DIAL: Signed: ELGIN . This dial has applied yellow gold hour numbers, gold hands, and sub-seconds. CASE: Needs a winding crown. YES, the stem is here for the crown. There is a fancy engraved Art Deco design on the casetop and sides. Caseback has NO personal engraving and NO wear through spots. Signed: CASE...D AND TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO ROY BASE METAL 698510 . SIZE: 35.5mm lug-to-lug. 25.5mm across without the crown. MOVEMENT: Well made antique mechanical movement. Signed: ELGIN USA 7 JEWELS 36026748 . CONDITION: This watch does not run. The balance seems good. Needs cleaned and repaired as it has been sitting for a very long time.
