Nice solid 18k gold case from verge fusee pocket watch, converted to reliquary box.
Diameter is 35mm, weight is 23.6 grams.
The case is very nice, it's decorated with multicolor gold applications and turquoise cabochons.
The movement was taken away and there is inserted container instead.
The container is equally made of 18k gold, and the lid is cut and engraved, very decorative.
Presumable Switzerland, about 1800s.
Condition
The case is little bent and do...esn't close firmly.
The hinge has traces of repair and soldering.
Otherwise nice condition.
