Antique F. Huguenin Locle Yellow Gold Enamel Key Wind Rare Pocket Watch. It’s difficult to find much info on these Huguenin watches since they are not US made, but from what I can tell, they are pretty rare and generally rather expensive, depending on the details anyway.This one has a case that tests between 14-18k gold, but it is not stamped, so I can’t say if that is solid, or gold filled, I can only tell you what my acid test kit showed for the surface gold on the case. The move...ment on these are also not marked directly with the manufacturer or a serial number, instead that info is on the interior ‘dust cover’ case, so that is what I have listed.The inscription inside reads “No.4177 Patent Lever Full Jewelled F.Huguenin Locle”I have wound the watch and set the time and it seems to be working normally from what I can tell so far. Running a little slow perhaps over the last hour.The face looks to be in perfect order and the crystal is not scratched. The case has minor dings, and the black enamel highlights are in pretty good shape. The key is included.Please see the pictures for the best description and know what you are bidding on.
