For sale is a RARE 1956 Chrysler New Yorker automobile that is a truly amazing original unmolested/unrestored car. We bought this car from a gentleman in Illinois who acquired it from California. It has original paint from the factory on it and is the rare 4 door hard top model which Chrysler only produced 3, 599 units of in 1956. 40, 618 original miles on it. 4 Coker white wall tires on it new. The automobile also has the original factory optional Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels that a...re a rare item to behold. The auto is the push button automatic model and the engine is the 354 hemi 280hp with factory duel exhaust. This auto is MAJOR rust free. It does have a new fuel pump and new float assembly installed in fuel tank. Oil and filter changed and a new battery installed. The engine runs very quiet and the transmission shifts smoothly. The radio does come on but I can not receive signal. This car is not brand new. It is an antique. So yes the chrome may be pitted in places. Don't expect a brand new car. It has not been restored period. Its beautiful just as it is. Ebay only allows 12 pictures but have many more pictures upon request. Ask any questions. Do not bid if you do not intend to pay.
