Mid-19th century American folk genre oil portrait painting of unidentified woman. Housed in period composition cove molded oval frame with fruit clusters. Pleasant looking female subject (kinda looks like Winona Ryder).
Very good overall condition. Original canvas surface with mild crackling. Small L-shaped tear in background next to subject's cheek. Small losses to framing ornament molding.
Mild cleaning and professional restoration would make this painting interior qua...lity.
Measures 24" x 28" overall.
