This is an auction for a very unusual and stylish Smiths desk clock which has then been mounted in the 1930's in a Silver frame which has Guilloche and hand painted enamel decoration, I think the frame is Scandinavian Silver imported into England for mounting with these Smiths clocks but its unmarked and I can find nothing similar for sale anywhere.
Its exactly as we have bought the clock and has a great patina so you can easily see its all original and importantly the enamel is per...fect and very pretty.
I have not tested but the clock seems to be working very well and its clearly been much loved, a very striking clock and its a Smiths as well so parts are always available through vintage dealers.
Size: approx 14.3 cm long & 7.7 cm tall, max height.
