A rare, Victorian era quack medicine device, the Victory Oxydonor, Patented June 24, 1890, and made/sold by Henry Sanche of Detroit Michigan.This item is composed of 3 pieces, the outer "egg" which separates in half, to reveal the actual devise.Great inscriptions on the outer shell, spelling out various things, such as:"Diaduction Rules Life"3 patent dates: June 24 1890 - May 31 1892 - Jan 2 1894An engraved eagleA ring of heart-shaped wreaths.Unsure of metal composition, more than like...ly the devise itself is steel, while the case might be aluminum?Very nice condition, comes with quack medicine flyer with depiction of women uses the devise while lounging, as well as picture of the device itself.Measurements:Container is 4" long with a 6" circumference.Devise is 3.5" long with a 4" circumference.
