You are looking at a very rare TAG Heuer CAR2A1D.FT6101. This is a special edition Indy 500 Tag Heuer. Only 101 were made! This one is numbered #018 / 101. This watch is a true survivor. I am a Tag Heuer collector and I own over 225 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. It is the full size tag watch with a face diameter of about 45mm (51mm including the crown). This watch is not for the faint of heart. ...It is extremely rugged and heavy. My pictures do not look the best because I was getting a glare when trying to photograph under my bright lights. The black ceramic bezel looks stunning in person. My bright light was making it look much lighter than it is. The crystal is in mint condition with zero scratches. The dial has the black skeleton dial with intricate accents. The back casing is in near mint condition with a few fine scratches. The back casing has the see thru exhibition back, so you can see the Tag Heuer Calibre Heuer 01 movement. The Indy 500 logo is also on the back casing. The bracelet is a thick TAG black calfskin leather band with a rubber lining. The band is in excellent condition with light wear. The clasp is black carbide. It is in near mint condition with no marks. Take advantage of this and get a rare watch at a great deal. The bezel is polished black ceramic and it is in near mint condition with a few faint marks. The hands and color on the dial are perfect. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 9.6 out of 10 in condition. It is beautiful. The band will fit an 8.75 inch or smaller size wrist. Bezel is in fixed position on this model. It is an automatic Calibre Heuer 01 self winding movement and 100 meters water resistant. The watch is running perfectly and keeping accurate time. Please see all of my other Tag Heuers for sale too. The TAG leather display pedestal is not included. The watch comes with the TAG outer box (with matching model and serial number stickers attached), TAG box, special edition Indy 500 TAG leather case & pillow, TAG manual, & TAG warranty card. Accessories are in excellent condition. Outer box shows shelf wear. Watch was purchased 10/30/2017 so the TAG factory warranty will be good thru 10/30/2019.
