Elgin pocket watch and Illinois Watch Company pocket watch. Condition is Pre-owned.
My wife inherited these from her late father. They were with a collection of other valuable items but we are both business owners and simply don't have the time to have them properly appraised. We are looking for around $400 because we are seeking a quick sale and based on initial research this seems to represent a very low price for these watches as a set.
The Illinois Wa...tch Co watch is functional (keeps time), but I cannot get the Elgin to work. Could be user error, or it may require some tinkering.
Both are incredibly interesting pieces, but we simply are not collectors and they would certainly be more appreciated and in better hands with someone who enjoys collecting these beautiful timepieces.
